WWT Constitution
WWT is in the process of converting from a Charitable Company Limited By Guarantee to a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). The conversion will not be complete until it has been registered by the Charity Commission. Below is a link to the proposed CIO Constitution, which derives from a model Model_Constitution by the Charity Commision. The draft was approved at the AGM on 17Apr 2019 and the process of gaining Charity Commision approval is on going as of early October 2019.

WWT Future Plans
This Zip File contains several files which give background on the canal being taken further into the town including the 2004 Planning Application and some Presentations made to AGMs in 2006 and 2010. For details on the current proposals for a Canal Basin see Project Information
The Whitchurch Waterway Trust
The Whitchurch Waterway Trust owns and manages the Whitchurch canal arm and seeks to extend it further towards the town centre.
Planning permission has been granted for a Canal Basin and the Trust is seeking funding for its construction in stages.
The Whitchurch Arm of the Llangollen Canal was re-opened a number of years ago and provides casual 48 hour moorings for passing boaters as well as a number of long term and winter moorings.
The Trust runs a Canal Festival at the end of the Summer each year.
